Happy Spring.
Ahh springtime in Seattle where flowers are blooming, grass is growing and sinuses are aching. I’m just getting over a bout of the flu and am looking forward to warmer and sunnier days. Yay!
I’ve enjoyed playing some gigs over the past two months with some of my favorite people, Alicia Healey and Val D’Alessio. We did a sweet little gig at World Cup Espresso in the U-district that gave us each a chance to dip into some tasty harmonies and debut a few new songs. Gigs like that always make me realize how lucky I am to share a stage with these amazing, talented women. Let’s do it again girls!
In other news, I am truly honored and excited to announce that my CD, No Miracles Today, has been selected by Performing Songwriter magazine as one of their Top 12 DIY (do it yourself) Picks for the upcoming May issue! It is an amazing thing to be reviewed in such a respected national publication as PS. So go out and pick up a copy, or go to their website and listen to an MP3 of my song, Ready to Burn.
